Day 1

It is a fact that Toivoa is the kingdom of merchants. Yes, one of the features of my kingdom is its wealth and richness in trade and enterprises. Sellers here, buyers there. Foreign dignitaries invest in our land for what is produced here will definitely prosper.

Kingdom Toivoa is also robust with Bamboos and Water Lilies (Water Hyacinths). The skills of the people could turn a Bamboo into an article of furniture, and Water Lilies into bags fit for monarchs. People of Toivoa earn their living through these organisms.

With that richness and fertility in the abovementioned field, a group called "League of Merchant Helpers" was founded by the ancestors of the kingdom. By the name of the group itself, the league helps merchants for the development of their enterprise and for its prosperity as well. As a Prince of the kingdom, most of my time is spent on the league.

DAY 1

Travel to Bambusca Tribe.

Bambusca Tribe is a Toivoan land where Bamboo products are produced. As a member of the league, I was tasked to conduct a talk about keeping the tribe free from superficial imperfections. Before presenting, I was there to observe the proles do their thing--Turning bamboos to furnitures.

The weather was red-hot, no sign of wind in the place, and yet the workers continued working--working happily, as if they don’t feel the heat of the sun. They worked together to produce a final product. Take note, before turning a bamboo into a functional product, it will take them series of processes like harvesting the pole, treating the pole, removing the nodes, finishing, polishing, etc. Some of the process are life threatening.

Last week, I went to the Western Part of the kingdom called Aqualandia to see the production of bags using Water Lilies. Water Lilies are considered "weeds" in Aqualandia. But the nymphs of Aqualandia optimized these creatures and turned them into functional products. But the production is not easy as it sounds. Like the Bamboo workers, the Water Lily workers worked under the heat of the sun, having different processes as well.

My realization? We must not take things for granted. All the objects around us have different stories to tell. Each object given to us has value in it, whether a glass, a shoe, a sword, a spoon, or even a quill. A person literally exerted his effort, his sweat or his blood in producing a merchandise.

Its also the same thing with life. We must not take anyone for granted, whether a friend, an enemy, a parent, a sibling or a stranger. Each has roles to partake, everybody has a purpose, everybody is a part of the greater scheme of things.

Let us love what we have and love what we don’t have, because at the end of the day…it is only LOVE that matters.

Long Live the Great King

Glory!
